Nourish Your Soul in Nature
Join us for a day of relaxation at Bowles C. Ford Park! This will be a day to nurture your body, mind, and spirit, surrounded by the quiet beauty of autumn. Life is stressful sometimes (or many times), so take this day as a vacation just for you. Here is a sampling of the program for this rejuvenating day:
We will start the day with a full hour long yoga class with time to immerse ourselves in nourishing yin asanas. We will have a meditative walk around the lake to discover the beauty and serenity in the ecosystem surrounding us and within us. Find quiet, intimate space for self reflection through journaling. Explore our creative selves though artistic expression. Observe, and practice calming the mind through seated as well as moving meditation. Challenge our leadership and communication skills with teambuilding games. Finally, you will learn how to make your own nourishing beauty product, and take it home, to extend the relaxation into your everyday life.
Since this day is about connecting with nature as well as with ourselves, we will be outside rain or shine (except in case of severe weather), so please check the forecast, and dress accordingly. Bring rain gear, and dress warmly.
