Start off the summer with a week-long leadership training where you will learn about ecology while developing your leadership skills. We will explore, laugh, and learn in Prospect Park. Our journey will take us throughout the park to investigate the flora and fauna as well as the non-living things to discover our role in the ecosystem. We will connect with each other, learn more about our community, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around us.
You will then utilize, and continue to hone your leadership skills by assisting with our Eco Explorers camp! You will be a leader and role model for younger campers (ages 8-13) as we learn about the food system, the diversity of life in the park, and ourselves. We will meet on Mondays during the camp season from 10am-3pm for planning, and then Group A will assist with camp on Tue/Thu, and Group B will assist on Wed/Fri from 9am-5pm.
